Save Max Real Estate began its operations in 2010, when visionary Raman Dua with just 3 years of Real Estate experience and an aspiration to build a team was challenged by his Brokerage to grow. This frustration led to the launch of Save Max from the basement of his house in Brampton.
With his innovative ideas, out of box marketing strategies, and economies of scale service model, Save Max soon became a brand name in the GTA. At Save Max, Raman brought on board a bunch of young and energetic members who were fairly new to the Real Estate world, and worked passionately focusing on their growth as individuals as well as a team. Facing the challenges of the Real Estate market head on, this Team went on becoming the Top Performing Team as per Canadian Real Estate Professionals Magazine (2016 & 2017). As of today, Save Max has achieved $2.2+ Billion in Sales Volume and 4,700+ Transactions since its inception.
Raman, understanding the difficulties of the REALTORS®, created a first ever hierarchy system in the company based on the principal of “Let’s Grow Together” wherein every REALTOR® gets a shoulder to shoulder support in their transactions. The concept of growing together helped Save Max build a strong team of 70+ REALTORS®, 5 highly productive Teams, and 3 recently announced Franchisees.
CHALLENGES IN REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY
While working on growing his Team leaders, Raman realized the 2nd level challenges of the Real Estate Industry wherein majority of Brokerages don’t work towards the growth of REALTORS®, and instead of offering opportunities to succeed, they treat the REALTORS® as mere numbers to show strength. Their focus is just to add more REALTORS® in their brokerage rather than ensuring their growth. Raman realized that the Real Estate industry has been working on a FLAT business model wherein either you can be a REALTOR® or you can have Brokerage. This thinking hinders further growth beyond a REALTOR® designation, specially because opening a Brokerage typically has its own challenges.
To break this FLAT business model, Raman with his extra ordinary vision decided to introduce a unique Franchise model that offers REALTORS® opportunities to open up their own Brokerage, build Teams, increase business volume, and save their tax dollars to use them effectively towards their marketing to further grow their business.
